A Special Needs Camp for Ages 7 - 17 and Adults

For the first time, under the direct care of qualified, professional and experienced para-educators and staff, special needs children can experience all the joys of outdoor summer camp; zip lining, canoeing, swimming, rock wall climbing, archery, spirit building, and more. It’s all available at the YMCA’s Camp Ohiyesa!
Many people with special needs have never been to a general recreational day camp, and even more never thought they’d be able to participate in the fun of being away from home in a camp setting. Camp Blue Sky was designed to bring that experience to the special needs population.
Now, your child with special needs can feel the exhilaration of daily outdoor adventures, making new friends and trying things never attempted. In small groups and with professional, caring and customized supervision, your special child can have all of the same experiences available in a traditional camp setting.
